Kassiopi is one of the most uniques beaches in Corfu Town and combines a liitle bit of everything because it has an amazing landsape but as well a fair measure of history. Emperor Tiberius had a village here, and the village's sixteenth-century church stands on what is believed to have been the site of temple of Zeus once visited Nero.

Initial impressions are of a fairly standard resort with a small central sqaure at the intersections of the road that come daigonally from the coastal highway. It is only when you take the raod that curves north - west that you understand the beauty of the place.
