Summers in Corfu are hot and dry. Heavy rains falls during the three months of winter, keeping the island green all year round. Spring comes to the island in March, and weather warm enough for swimming continues until early October.

Corfu weather in January: January is generally a cold, rainy and windy month. The weather conditions are good in this month usually just for a week,called the Halcyon Days.

Corfu weather in February: February is slightly warmer and sunnier then January.It is also the month that the tha the almomd trees bloom.

Corfu weather in March: Usually this month is not very hot in Corfu Island. It is rather windy one would say but that does not mean that there are no good days.

Corfu weather in April: Spring time in Corfu with medium temperatures and low rainfall. The island is full of wildflowers and it is magnificent.

Corfu weather in May: Warm, sunny and is rains rarely especially past May 10. As meltemia winds have not yet started to blow, the sea is calm and it is a good time to enjoy the nature and begin swimming. May is one of the the best months for outdoors activities but it gets a bit cold in the night.

Corfu weather in June: Sunny and hot. Ideal month for swimming as the beaches are not full of people yet.

Corfu weather in July: July is one of hotest months in the summer.As the temperatures are very high the best think is to spend the entire day at the beach.

Corfu weather in August: This is the hotest month in the summer. Visitors should choose only morning hours to go out and to swimming. Alternativly they should go late in the evening.

Corfu weather in September: The weather is still sunny but slightly cooler adn more windy. Good for outdoors activities. The night it gets a bit cold.

Corfu weather in October: It is the month that it starts raining again. It is certainly colder then October an a jacket is always necessary.
