Kavos Beach Guide


Kavos beach is five miles long and the waters are shallow and clean. The beach is quite developed and there are many cafes around where you can drink your coffee while having a break from swimming in the sea.

Beach location: Kavos is located at the south part of Corfu Island and the beach can be accessed mainly from the centre of the resort.

Disabled access: Yes. Kavos is flat resort and all the streets are asphalted, which means that wheel chairs can be easily accessed.

Car parking: There is not much space for parking so it is advisable to live the car somewhere outside from the centre and take a walk there.

Sunbeds/umbrellas: Yes. There are many.

Showers: Certain outlets provide showers and toilets.

Safe for children: The sea is placid despite the open environment but sometimes it can get windy. In addition, because of the fact that ater sports operate in some areas, it would be wise to keep an eye on the children.

Water Sports: Yes. There is almost everything.

Main users: Teenage tourists

Well cared for: No. For a large resort, it's inadequate.
